 Post subject: dcoe lost jet cover cap

Can I still drive the datsun without the webber dcoe domed jet cover cap?

I worked on car and reset floats. They kept leaning out as toob low.
well I got running sweet and drove 1km down rd briskly. Pulled overvto check all wasbsweet.... cap gone wasnt on properly. Anyway ive spent last hour walking with my phone in hand as I needed to drive it 50km tomorrow. Still havent found it.

Go to Thornbury Carburettors Mick, He will have one for peanuts at his shop
he is very helpful and so is his wife for anything weber, dellorto or Solex.
Otherwise a plastic bottle top might help with a bit of hylomar blue sealant

Cheers d unfortunately im out on the toad for work tomorrow no where near thornburry. Will be bush lol. Will call them and see what time open and if may be able swing past. 2 hour search no good but I found a washer that fits on side of road Hahaha. Might be ok for 50kms afterwork.
