The 610 has front disk brakes.
The steering is recirculating ball and once it is lubed up and adjusted it is just fine.
The dash can be re-skinned to look like new.

Welcome to Ozdat forums!
R31 rear discs are popular and places like Datsport sell the caliper mounting plates and brake lines afaik.
Steering is normally left stock as they are hard to upgrade and actually steer easily when the tierod ends, ball joints and idler arms are replaced so long as you dont put really wide wheels up front.
Dashes are normally recovered by an upholsterer.
