I'm putting a new motor in my 180b sss (secret motor), anyway the car the motor comes from has a digital dash electric speedo, electric tacho ect. I already have a sss round gauge dash in my 180b and my question is has anyone made their original gauges work by taking the needle/gauge motor out of an aftermarket dash or another gauge and put in the face of the datsun gauge? I understand it won't be accurate but it would just be cool if the needles moved.

SSS tachs can be used on SR20s if wired up correctly.
Secret motors are another thing.

I had a honda s600 speedo and swapped the internals of the original datsun 1600 speedo into it if thats what you mean? nothing digital of course. worked a treat as even the MPH lined up perfectly if I remember well.

It's not really a secret anymore. It's a F20c. I think I'm just going to take out the stock gauges and put speedhut gauges in now
