Hey guys, im all new to these forums.
I have a Datsun 200B wagon and looking to start working on. I have a series one vn motor sitting here and i am wondering is it worth putting that in or rebuilding the l20 motor that is currently in it, the l20 motor was working alright but i was thinking of rebuilding this and have this turboed!

Would this be better then throwing a turbo on the vn motor and putting that in??

Any feed back would be appreciated

Thanks Josh

Itll fit fine but wont be legal on the street without being signed off by an engineer.
Do you have experience with efi and turbocharging?

Is it worth just rebuilding the l20 motor?

Depends what you want to do with it i guess.
Street? Drags? Burnouts? Paddock basher?...

The L20B's take alot of work to get the same power as the V6 will put out std...

See if you can get the supercharged V6, they pull like a truck and are a lot more powerful than Holden claimed, in a 200B it would be mental. But be warned they run really hot so you'd have to address under bonnet temperatures I would think

My VX S Supercharged is running like sh*t at the moment with a blown head gasket :x

POS car, I'm thinking of selling it.

Oh ok then yeah I did think of doing that but I don't think I can really be bothered going through all the regency crap and engineers stuff.
