 Post subject: my 1971 datto 1200 ute

gday
i finally found and brought a datsun 1200 ute its in very good condition for its age it has a A15 motor with 4 speeds (hoping to go for a 5 speed in the near future) has a good condition interiour brand new brakes all round mag wheels etc etc my future plan for my ute is
the 5 speed box
new grille and badge
new tail light set
and also new crystel head lights
new bumper (the one on it looks ok but its been dented in and it has ford escort overiders)
and some black and white number plates

Crystal headlights look ok but give crap light spread. Try find Bosch h4 lights, then add globes and resists for better wattage globes.

Overrides look good. Jump on Datsun 1200.com too.

got some more photos with progress of my ute scraped the window tint off the other day got my new glove box too :) i also have a photo of my ute next to my sisters morris minor with a datsun a14

awesome little ute mate. Love the morrie to. I bet it goes nicely with the A15.

Like datsandy sad good to see the young preserving the older cars. Means im not alone!

gday got some more updates to my ute
no more spotties or overiders
has got brand new lights and grille
and central locking
got some brand new number plates getting made and be arriving in january
heres some photos attached of my new grille and headlights
