| Post subject: | 720 gearbox swap |
Hi All I am looking to change my 720 from a column shift 4 speed to a 180b 4 speed but wondering if anyone can confirm that these gearboxes are the same length. I have measured overall length and from front of box to the mount and they appear to be the same, awkward measuring accurately with one gearbox still in the car, but i need to be sure that they are same as i can not have the car off the road. Hoping that i wont need to get tailshaft modified. If anyone can help i would appreciate it. The sooner this happens the better as i hate the column shift. Cheers. |
