Looking to find a motor and gearbox to drop straight into my 84 720, it currently has a sieve like SD23 with a blown gearbox, I would like to keep the 4x4 system in place for when I go bush.
I'm needing a stronger more powerful diesel motor with a manual box for towing and to be able to get over the 80k mark.
Any one know what will work as I have heard many answers from many mechanics and none of them seem feasible.
Looking for something along the lines of a non-computered Toyota, Ford or Nissan set-up.
