Here is the pump after removal of the fan clutch, I’m going to cut the end of the shaft off obviously.

The remains of the fan clutch, haha. It’s cast alloy so I mainly just smashed it off with a hammer and chisel

My pump is pretty worn but I’m going to cut the remains of the shaft off and measure my clearance and order the biggest Thermo I can fit.

And I’ve ordered a brand new pump, it’s a jap made one I think and has the cast type impeller, so when that gets here I’ll take the fan clutch off and fit it.

Oh and I think it gives me around 30-40mm extra clearance.
