are there any auto gurus out the that can tell me how much play is acceptable on the output shaft of a 3n71b
i have two boxes here (one is currently in the car) and both have a similar amount of play, but one was good until i busted the trans oil pump bearing and the one that is in the car now is of an unknown reliability
i replaced the rear seal tonight and it is leaking more fluid then before i replaced it, also appears to have been chewed out a little on the inside from the tailshaft (rear seal was replaced due to fluid loss, but am now suspecting the rear bush on the shaft)

any help is appreciated

from what i can tell, 0.20mm is the maximum allowable main shaft end play on a 510 automatic. bluey should be much the same u would think
