Hello all,

This is in reference to a SR20det Holden Gemini (sorry fellas). I wanted to post this on your site as SR20 conversions are very common with you lot. your assistance would be very much appreciated

Now I’m no electrician by any means but I have a good go.

I recently had my stock tach functioning perfectly with a "pullup" resistor from the tacho wire from the SR20det ECU.

like so:

Then.... I took the time to tidy up my wiring and install the cluster back in the car. I was very happy with result until I started the car again and it does not work. I did slightly short the tach wire on the earth, but it is still reading 4.8 -5v so I assume it is ok.

any ideas or experience on this would be greatly appreciated as I have spent hours in this, even had my diagnostics on my tach by a professional.

stevo
