I got sold a ecu and loom to suit a sr20det but I'm not sure if it will suit my S13 motor. I looked at the ecu type and it's a s14 a series 2 adm type. is this a vvt ecu and if it is can I still use it on my S13 motor? |

it should be vvt if its s14. you will have to check the pinouts from an s13 ecu and compare the two. as long as each is turbo or non turbo? I have the non turbo s14 and a non turbo s13 ecu i bought (not connected) has the same pinouts (except no vvt) so in theory it should plug in a work (in reverse to your question) blanking off the VVT wires would not cause any problems i think. the ecu should compensate for that event not happening? |
