Should be stamped on the firewall between the bonnet stay and wiper motor.

That's where the wiper bolts on a 68, it's not in the middle like most 1600"s I've also seen them stamped on one of the strut tower tops but it's not there either??

from memory imported are stamped on firewall and local were on strut tower.68's have it high up on firewall just under cowl like sbthommo mentioned ,maybe to much paint on it

Cheers guys yes it was on the firewall cheers, didn't realise there that high haha sits right under the chanel on a 68
