Calling it a tunnel console as there is a whole thread on centre consoles that relate to the radio fascia. Which could get confusing.
I'm talking about something that can incorporate or meet up with factory heater box, or be separate from the heater box but has
functionality.
Something that will cover over the gear shift hole, possibly with cupholders or a storage box.

What have you used?

Goggle up dept of interior. They can custon make what ever you want and in Sydney. Found them to good with last 1600 i did.

I have bought an electric fan/heater that I am going to retrofit in place of the heater matrix (core) or replace
the heater box altogether and fit it within a custom box. So I have flexibility with that.

I had a sunny with one that looked the same as that...

You know mine is the 200b one. I really like them especially if you want to go to the effort of making a bracket and relocating the handbrake to the right of the gear leaver. I ended up doing that AFTER i had cut my consol up because the handbrake wouldn't work where I originally located it. Then made the plate up to the underside of the "centre consol"
