Hey all, After pulling the lower rear quarter sections
Off my 1600 I found a fair bit of rust inside the wheel arches..
I've managed to source a nos wheel arch/dogleg panel and
Was wondering if anyone with the skills/knowledge would like to
Replicate it???
I don't want to fit it to my car without trying to help others.
I only have the right hand side at the moment and doubt I'll find the
Left.

Just some food for thought...

Cheers

Jonno

(the panel is in victoria)

Hi,

I Wonder if there is a 3D scanning service that could digitise the shape and save the data for use later to produce a die if the need arises. Once you have one side scanned it should be an easy process to "mirror" it for the opposite side.

I feel that the area where the sill transitions to the dog leg up to where the rear quarter starts is the most likely candidate for re-production.

Cheers
Kev
