Sunny Wagons were built with 2 different rear body shapes. There's the sloping shape sold in Australia or the squarer shape identical to the Panel Van. I prefer the squarer shape, like the Biege Japanese car, but have only seen 1 of these in Australia. It was for sale on E-Bay in the ACT as a project car. Should have bought that one, but instead I got a 1 owner A15 powered 1981 model wagon that was a runner. One of the shapes is called a B311, but I don't know which one. Good luck with the brown wagon, looks a good car all round.

My new steering wheel arrived and looks nice, came with grey horn button surround but i got a black one off dad, still thinking if i should use the "momo" horn or just wedge a plate between the steering wheel and the boss kit and relocate the horn to the dash somewhere.

Had the tacho for a while, not crappy plastic, some metal, glass needle/face cover and thick strong plastic case

Gasket kit for a14/15 for $200, good to keep the a series going until the current, half complete, l20b (hopfully) goes in with a stanza 5-speed off a mate of dads

Got some work done, mainly rust and such, worked from 5 till 10:30 then got up at 7:30 and finnished at 1, it was great fun :D

Need to get some far less gritty sand paper for paint

Need to get it rego'd soon (L's almost) and then keep it that way, im sure if, once on my P's, i might be able to fool a not so smart police officer if it had a standard L-series in it with a l16 or l18 rocker cover and grind off the L20B stamped on the side.

got my L's, driving is great but the sunny isnt finished, never having time, mums trying to "help" constantly saying "i dont want your car to be a money pit, and you cant spend money on it" and i told her that every datsun is a money pit and the more you modify it, the more it breaks
