Mentioning smoking i noticed when cleaning a mates car who smokes just how much crap builds up. Make me feel sorry for his lungs lol.

Try windex, but and wipe on and off with news paper. Works really well. Opps! Newspaper, one word.

Smoking ist the worst thing you can do!! Owned various cars i have never had Issues with Dirty Windows, Cleaned them only once a Year if that, nad our Company car, well that needs cleaning all the time, as People smoke in the Car

Use Meguiars/Mothers glass cleaner - with a proper glass cleaning cloth.

Also the oily residue often comes from cleaning products such as ArmorAll which is REALLY bad for this - stay away from this crap if you dont want to be cleaning your windows each week!

Hey 120why that is a really good point... I used to armorall all the inside plastics and dash religiously when I first got the car :!:
