I brought some new carpet from knox awhile back, but of course there moulds suck or they have only one mould which was automatic floorpan.

Any tips on getting a nice fit around the tunnel and such?

thanks

Put carpet in and bolt in your stuff.
Nah just take your time and have a sharp knife handy for a bit of trimming. It will settle down after a while.

I remember reading somewhere to lay your new carpet over the old one for a few days and let it settle, apparently it takes a similar shape, not sure if it's true or not.

Heat gun on the glue underneath may help.

Personally I'm a fan of the non moulded carpets (http://community.ratsun.net/topic/12900 ... arpet-kit/), or even clip together ones that seem to come from Japan

I have this style of non moulded carpet from the US. ... Bozo510, how have you secured yours in front so it doesn't slide under your feet (if my car used to have those foldy tabs, they aren't there now!)
and also at the sides, unlike the moulded ones, the factory ones don't go up under the scuff plates. ???
