Gday I'm getting around to welding the sill's on my 1600, the replacements i purchased don't have the same curve in them as the originals and was hoping from some advise if possible. There are some pictures attached to show what i mean by "the same curve". The replacement's run the same width everywhere and will stick out past the bottom door line from what i can figure :( Cheers

I did a write up on how i replaced my sills in my build thread mate:

Hopefully it helps you. To keep the curve, I made a Jig for my grinder out of a bit of plate and right angle bracket. Set for 14mm away from the oustide of the sill. Then i just cut it off from the outside, which maintained the original profile! Then just got my new sill, and bent it in place to fit! You now can't even tell it was replaced!
