As per title,

what have you used?
what's a direct replacement but "better"?
and details... make/model...

I bought a mirror from a generic parts store, that uses the tab on the screen.. but the glue is S**T.
twice now it's fallen off. so thinking of a replacement that bolts in the original spot. and while i'm at it,
i can re-trim some tatty old sunvisors, or find something already in black, that bolts in just the same.

..... your turn... post.

$15 and has never fallen off. You can stick it anywhere you want. Guess you gotta just make sure the window is clean first. Not a bad deal

Just out of intrest Red510, whereabouts in perth did you get your exhaust done? as im about to tackle mine.

I went with performance shoppe in wangara, a work friend put me on to them (and it's about 1 minute from work) I am happy with their work. Happy to show you it if you want.
I was quoted similar prices from Northside Mufflers (who said they would use Magnaflow cat/res/muffler and stainless pipe) and same again from Kermit Engineering, who were going
to use X-Force products.
the guys I used went with Magnaflow, stainless, used a slip on/clamp setup so I could remove it all around the rear crossmember.
i'm sure there are plenty of good places around, some wanted considerably more, the 3 I mentioned were priced where I was happy to pay.

The didnt seem keen to say the least...

Can you post up a pick of where the mirror screws to the roof? I'll tell you if it works the same as what I've done on my 180B.

I used a N10? Pulsar rear vision mirror last that was black in colour and bolted straight on.
My sunvisors came from some other early 80's datsun from memory, possibly early 910?
I may have reused the original 1600 mounts for these though. Was a while ago sorry.
Search the wreckers as you can mix and match some datsun parts from that era...

Yup that's what I did used an exa bracket bolted straight on. Changed the mirror part on the ball joint with a newer one that suited. Just mixed and matched around the wreckers.

Use the R31 mirror and bracket mate. The bracket has the same hole spacing as the original datsun one so screws onto the same datsun mount holes. Then 1 screw to hold the mirror on in the middle to that bracket. Much larger and newer but not overly big. Got the flip mechanism for night driving. Any along that type/style will do. You'll see when you look at the wreckers. Its what i've used in my past 1600 and in Red...
No idea about the sun visors however mate. I'd go for the Pulsar first. Just get the old tape measure out and start your measuring with bolt holes etc.

Yeah, I just used the original ones and the guy who did my hood lining re-trimmed them. They're sweet!
