Hello Ozdaters, I recently joined the forum and I have been stalking it for a couple of days and I thought I better start my own build thread.
So here is a couple of pics of my 200b just after I purchased it. Still an Automatic at this point. Had just had a bath and a couple of coils expertly removed by me :P

Unfortunately I forgot to take original interior pics /facepalm but I can assure you it was half the reason I purchased this. As with my spare 200b I had rusting away in my yard I could make very clean inside. Continued below with some update pics;

So here's a couple of pics of my interior (needs a wash sorry) as it is today. There's also a little clue that I have done a manual conversion

It's actually in really good condition for it's age. Only missing ONE (so annoying) little silver piece on the air vent control and thats it. I've organized to have the seats re-faced in the same material as original but actually black and re-stitched in the same pattern aswell. Buying some black molded loop pile carpet online then it's pretty much done inside! Might get the roof lining bleached but it's not too bad tbh.

Only thing I have done to the engine is put electronic ignition, new coil and manual conversion. Other than that it's a bog standard l20b. More on that later.

Now to show off how it looks at this moment. All I've done is lowered it. Fitted 16x8 Performance Superlites, swapped the rusty bonnet over for a less rusty one and pumped the front guards to accomodate the 8s. It's a little rough and it needs some body work but it all takes time and jelly beans.

So that's it for now. My wishlist is currently;

Exterior
-Quick coat of paint and some dent removal till later on
-Front apron spoiler
-guard mirrors that look factory - wouldn't mind some help here, plz
-window tint
Interior
-carpet
-seat trim
-someone to hide my stereo cause I don't want to cut anything. Maybe even switch to usb only player, who uses CDs anyway?
Engine/drivechain
-5-speed box. I hate the 4-speed but it was free.
-Get my diff locked
-Extractors/exhaust
-http://www.weberperformance.com.au/prod ... ucts_id=10 <<<THIS!!
-Mild cam
-Head reworked (not mine, I like it screwed up, I mean the engines head)
-Some general wiring tidy up
Suspension/brakes
-undecided. Datsport stuff looks good though

Hope you enjoyed viewing my crap. If anyone can help out, let me know. I'll keep updating as I get stuff done :cheers

Feels like driving a diesel 60 series since doing the manual conversion. Picking up a 3.54 r180 diff for it on Friday. Should I lock it before I put it in?
