Gday strangers, so I've comeacross this mint as 200b aspen that i managed to convince my boss to buy and let me fix it up a little, body and interior is in excellant showroom condition, it came with a boot full of brand new spares shocks, ball joints, tie rods, gaskets, door seals and many more, so far ive picked up a lynx manifold and fitted some side draft dellortos and new air filters and linkage kit, fitted all the new suspension and front end gear, it has a standard L20 that looks like its been rebuilt by a dodgy engine builder as they have shaved the sh*t out of the head and the cam towers have about 3 mm of spacer shims under it, so my plan is to slowly try and convnce my boss to let me build up a stroked engine for it (same as my old 200b sss) also the gearbox is a strange looking one its has what it looks like a aftermarket cast bellhousing, and a cast iron centre section and is made up of 3 sections unlike any gearbox ive ever had behind an L20, also it is a 5 speed with standard shift pattern and a push down and to the top left corner reverse (not dog leg!!) any who heres some pics........ Cheers Deano

Long story, but in short i am the new owner of the Aspen. ;)

It has been on the road for the last year with a 2.1 stroker engine, locked diif and heavy duty clutch. Handles well and is a hoot to drive, but the misses gets car sick everytime she rides in it.

Im actually about to advertise to sell it, so if anyones interested in a clean rare aussie datsun let me know.
