euro ones are the ones with red and orange and clear instead of just red and clear.

Go to your local nissan dealer and give them the part numbers i supplied you with, or go here

http://www.datsport.com/electrical-body ... -list.html

not sure why RH is more expensive
I think you are probably better off buying from datsport, its alot easier and quicker as they have them in stock and dont have to get them from japan

Nissan would get a batch of a particular part made up whenever neccessary (ie when they run out of stock) and would charge whatever percentage they want on top of the cost of manufacture. I have sets bought back in the '80s plus a set bought last year and the current ones being sold are newer stock that what was available 20 years ago (different part no's - the old part number has been superceeded at some point, and different packaging).

I'd guess the last batches of LH and RH taillights were just made at different times, and a different cost to Nissan.

I always thought it was due to supply and demand.
Most datsuns around the world are RHD and the majority of parts damaged are on the left due to them deing furthest from the drivers vision. Think about it, how hard is it to get a lh fender thesedays.
More left handed parts therefore get ordered and with larger batches and less parts needing to be stored on the shelf = lower costs...

Makes sense in my head neway. :? :)

Hi Dave

I also had 2 different types.. not anymore though..

The older ones had blue 'Nissan' writting on the box also the bolts were just a tab shorter on the back.

Other than that they were the same I think.
