I've got my heart set on getting these as I love the look of them:

But it appears that they are rather difficult to find for smaller rims. The current tyres I have are 185/65 R14 which fit under the guards with lowered suspension and I don't need to roll them.

Problem is the smallest I have found so far are either 215/60 R14 or 205/70 R14 which is a decent step up in size.

So my immediate question is can I make the bigger size fit and will I need to roll the guards a bit as a result? I've got no problem with rolling them if it is needed but I want to make sure there isn't anything else I might miss. I do want to go with the rebuilt 200B struts from Datsport too

Those tyres are going to be talllll as buggery on your car.
It'll look rediculous, you possibly won't be able to turn depending on clearance.
Your tyre dia: 596mm
215/60R14: 614mm
205/70R14: 643mm

Has anyone managed to find a distributor that does them in a smaller size?

Just buy another tyre and either colour the lettering or stencil your own on.

Yep, you can buy the white tyre pen from Supercheap, or you can get an assortment of colours from ebay for a couple of bucks each.

Yeah that's my fallback.

Only problem is it wears off, I want to get something that's been done as part of the manufacturing

Since you're in Melbourne, give antique tyres a try

I did mate, the tyre I posted is actually from their site. I got in contact with them but the sizes I posted originally are the smallest.

It's good news on the Yokohama though, apparently there might be a bit of a waiting period for them as they are getting pretty popular but I've got plenty of time

They've been popular for a while - I used to run them in a 205/60/13 (on 6" jellybeans  ) on my 1600 back in the 80's.

Actually, it's still got an old, cracked and worn-out set on it in the back of the shed.

The Bf Goodrich Radial TA tyre is available in a heap of sizes actually, but as far as I know there isnt a legit distributer for them in aus.
You will have to import them.
Some places here might have some, but sizes will be for more popular (muscle) cars.
try tirerack.com or just google some other tyre shops that will send to Aus.
Abit of a warning though, the BF Radial TA arent the best tyre for performance driving.

.

Michelin Are the Legit distributors of BF goodrich tyres, but aus gets shafted in the supply of stock as demand in US and europe is far greater.

Mastercraft is another tyre with OWL, american made in the Cooper factory

There you go.
Wonder if you can order odd sizes and if they will be reasonably priced?

Looks like Yokohama have almost run out of the Y352 and they aren't getting any more.

*sigh*
