G'day Datsun lovers. I'm a newbe on here and I know you guys are a wealth of knowledge. As states above I got a hold of some 2nd hand Recaro's for my 180b. All in good order but the inners are very dirty with stains and general wear. Just need to know if you guys have used or come across a product or home ingredients that might bring them back to life. I know of the the general stuff with the brush at the end of it. But just need something extra strong to erase the stains and that won't harm the material ( tuff polyester I think that's what they are?) At present they are black outers with dirty grey inner's that look black? Not looking for a SHAM WOW cure. Any reply or information would be much appreciated and do apologize if this subject has been done before. Thanks for your time.

Try using Agar Chemicals grease remover. Soak a clean rag in this and wipe it on the fabric. It soaks into the fabric and loosens oil and dirt, and the wiping rag pulls it off the seat fabric into the rag. Keep repeating, using new sections of clean rag until no more discolouration of the wiping rag occurs.

I bought the Agar product from a warehouse specialising in cleaners products.

Maybe take them to a steam cleaner? Can you take the covers off? It so it might make it easier to get them clean.
