i have a problem in my 1600 with the front and rear passenger windows not going all the way up, does anyone have a solution for this, the rear window comes out of the bracket so i may be able to just put something in where the window sits into the bracket to jack it up a bit but the front seems to be quite firmly in the bracket, and i cant really get into the door enough with the door card off to do much about it

Has this always been a problem?
Providing the mechanism is meshed correctly the glass should travel OK.
Perhaps the glass is jamming in the guides.
What condition are the runners in the door frame in?
Does the glass free up if you grab it and pull up?
Is your arm still poking out of the window?

The steel channel which the glass sits in rusts out eventually and flares the channel out wider which causes the window to get stuck in the door just before they wind all the way up. More common in the rear doors of 1600's ive come across...
