Baz,

being an r31 fan, and the problems with brake upgrades, to my understanding the HR31 strut with the floating hub/rotor set up was the easiest and most cost effective upgrade option.
so what your've done is, using the aus spec strut, been able to mount larger rotors and 4 spot callipars and still use standard rims?

if so whats the total cost of the upgrade and why haven't you posted this in the r31forum???
do you know how many people would be interested...$$$$

Yes exactly that

if so whats the total cost of the upgrade

Varies depending on what bits you need

Did not post this as the calipers have been low in supply past few months.
Had a big delay in rotors as well. So we did not want to advertise & have a long waiting list. 1600s first.
Have been burnt before by opening my trap too early.

mums the word.

p510psi, i think you'll find that the r31 strut is very limited when it comes to up grades, next to what Baz has to offer.
are the struts you have hr31 or oz r31 as the hr31 use a 276mm rotor and larger callipars (still single pot) i'd say 50% increase in pad size.

The std R31 brakes are not that bad when fitted to a 1600.
Its lighter than the Skyline.
We have good reports that they out perform the 271mm twinspot sumi ala 240K etc.

Baz - I dont recall seeing specifically what hubs to use. I grabbed a pair of Z31 300ZX hubs from the wreckers today, and I wish to use this setup on my 910 bluebird struts.. These are the correct hubs arent they (4 stud, with the rotor on the back of the hub)? I'm just not certain of this as I just grabbed them while I was there and had a feeling they were right :)

So all I need to do is get the dogbone adaptors off you and I can put on the R32 4spot setup.

Digging up old thread but that's proof I used the search button I guess lol.

So by reading this topic you can fit r31 brakes to a 200b strut by using the 200b bearing??
