just a little bit about my 1200 project and whats been done so far.
its a 1973 1200 sedan picked it up for $700 with rego.
A12 motor was freshy rebuilt. unsure of exactly what was done to the internals.
a bigger cam was put in unsure of the specs :/

Mods i have done in the engine bay so far.

Made custom turbo manifold
GT15 turbo sitting on it
K&N pod filter
38mm external wastegate + screamer pipe 9~10 Psi
custom front mount intercooler setup with all stainless 1.5 inch pipe work
custom hat for carby
blown through a 350 holley on standard intake manifold with adaptor plates to suit holley
turbosmart V port BOV
custom 2.5 inch turbo back mandrel bent stainless exhaust with Apexi exhaust valve. "does a whole lot of nothing"

Fuel System:

bosch 070 efi pump "vl turbo"
high and low pressure filters
malpassi adjustable fuel pressure reg. 1:1 rise
fuel pressure guage
6psi static fuel pressure


Custom radiator setup includes :

Ally 3 core gemini radiator
removed standard water pump and fan.
running a Davies Craig Electric water pump
2 X 9 inch thermofans
with digital controller + thermo switch
all custom stainless steel plumbing

Electrics so far:

Moved battery to boot.
replaced headlights with H4 semi sealed beams

Tacho, boost, water temp, mechanical oil pressure guage.

Driveline:

heavy duty clutch
CIG locked diff

Things to do:

Make blanking plate for machanical fuel pump.

Electronic dissy and new coil.

CUT THE RUST OUT!!!!

sway bars, suspension, brakes, ect...

Get it dyno'd

video was taken be4 intercooler and new radiator/pump setup was installed.

it didnt like it when i tryd 3rd gear haha XD

I can now say it chews up commodores after dragging my brother off in his VS and i had no traction 1st and 2nd gear kept up with him then when i got 3rd gear i pulled away from him haha.

more boost and il give them v8's a go

surprised your diff is holding up after that driveway effort :)
1 and 2nd would be better with a taller diff ratio as she
has enough torque now to be able to use it.

what revvs are you taking her to? seems very responsive throughout!
