had a massive entry but lost it on the stupid computer
so a quick update...! Will go into more depth once I get onto a more reliable computer...!
Moved onto some more projects because my wiring is %85 finished.
Started the fuel tank with a mate, Notched it for clearance around the towers and will be marking out for spare wheel clearance which will also get notched. It will be a no bullshit design with a surge tank protruding the boot floor which will feed an 044 directly to the inlet fuel line. Should be good for around 60lt's
Started on my exhaust, It was cheaper for me to go 304 stainless the whole way through to the muffler and I will be tigging every join, pretty crazy really..anyway so I tacked the first section up. Because its my own car I have pushed the boundaries with clearance because I can alway's fix a knock! One thing I hate is road dragging exhausts. Tucked it as close as I could to the gearbox and got a nice clean shot through the gearbox crossmember, The only problem I had was the v-band is the lowest point of the exhaust so I have to make a skid plate for it so it doesnt catch. Will also be putting in a flexi join just after the v-band.

Also started looking for a muffler, saw these out of Japan and fell in love (only want one though) Couldnt find anything that came close here so it was off to the drawing board. Time to make my own, First thing Ive found was these handrail ends which were 100mm od which is what the muffler will be, I had to open up the I.d to 76mm on the lathe so I could fit the inlet and outlet pipe. Will update more when I get more of it together... I'm hoping to have it take away a "little" bit of the bark
