Nice looking exhaust there. One thing I found from experience is that the cotton reel type rubber mounts last much longer if you mount them such that they are in compression rather than shear. On my exhaust I welded tabs on the exhaust and crossmember so that the mounts are vertical and in compression.

Sure is a lovely build coming along nicely!

Thanks man, Ill definately keep an eye on them for sure.

Exhaust is apart at the moment getting the dump pipe surfaced, so found myself a nice factory DR30 2-way mechanical 3:9 R200 longnose, cleaned it up and gave her a lick of paint.

Also recieved my billet shafts made from the second best material in the world 8) according to the machine shop I used the next up from here was sourced out of America or the occasional offcut from the RAAF base.

Im using all Nissan parts for the CV conversion, R30 outer tripod's and HR31 inners. Finally starting to look good under there!

Cheers for the comments guys...

Have been soooo flat out at work but have managed to do a couple of little things lately. Unfortunately BOSCH have ceased production of their recirc valve, So I went on the hunt for the next best thing and have found these little beautys from GFB. They are of billet ally construction and made here in AUS... They are a direct replacment for the BOSCH unit and will hold unlimited boost. And are also adjustable for those who like a little bit of hectic "flutterzzzzzzzzzzz  "

Ended up giving my cooler piping a touch of Anchor "Sparkling Black"

And started routing my check valve inline in a sneaky spot.

I have not been active on the forum lately. ( due to ongoing server issues & email back logs).
However I guess I need to explain a bit about whats happening with Camo's 1600.

We have been flat out building goodies for you Guys, so Camo has not had too much spare time of late.

We are using it as a test bench for new ideas & our products.
The 16 is on the road tho a lot more work to do.

On a mild tune it made 280 RW KW, @16lbs. The potential is there for at least 350.
Good test for the IC & rad. The new GFB diverter valve works a treat.

Cam reckons above 4500rpm it responds like an NA, could be the swirl converter on the turbo outlet, we cant be sure.
The handling is way improved, tho we have more work to do on the adjustable rear coil overs. ( about 15/20 mm higher than we want.
Tho they are working very well.

New extended radius rods appear to be doing the what we set out to achieve.

I could go on, but I guess we will hold you all in suspence for a while.
Camo will be testing soon with some R specs on different rims to see just how good this baby is.

I must congratulate Camo for the dedication & effort he has put into this project & the determination to do it right.
I am so proud of him. The best apprentice I have ever had.
:cheers

Cam,
Curious as to what determined where you broke the two tone up. 'Usually' people use a body line of some sort but you didn't.
