With the Toyota engine, you have to look for a code.

It will consist of a letter/s eg. A, E, K, T, ZZ, and a number. This usually refers to a revision and what years the engine was in production for.

So you could be looking at a E1 engine, or a T2 engine. Take a look around it and see if you can find anything.

Also: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Toyota_engines if my explanation was a bit bland.

As for the tail-lights, I haven't got a clue, I searched for ages using Google and looking for lots of Datsun models, but chances are they could be from an old Toyota.

Ridiculously late response. Probably not relevant any more but that motor is probably a 5K or 7K motor - the latest models came with EFI, I think they were in Lite-ace vans.

That 4K EFI engine is not in his local scrapyard at all, he's just looking for answers for questions in a little competition I held for our local forumers. I posted pictures and they tell me what those are in return for a chance to win something olskool like guard mirrors, model kits etc. People should be more sincere lol

The tail lights are off a round headlight B310 btw.
