Yep. A few days ago. Diff arrived this arvo. I rebuild the half shafts tonight. Will probably pull the did down and make sure every thing is good. Should be done by Friday.

What use will that be? Real 200Bs have live axle, none of this IRS rubbish

Good work with the write-up, I can't see it ever being much use to me but for many others it will be a valuable set of instructions for a great conversion.

nice work Brad. I'll be dropping mine off to diff shop next week to get new bearings and kaaz fitted, then skids (after 30min of figure 8s).
Do you know if/when beta motorsports will be doing another run? I was under the impression that there have only ever been 32 sets made and all are sold...

will a sti clutch pack center fit onto a datsun crown wheel? modifications required?
Eg can you use a 5.1 datsun diff and install a sti center with these adapters

Not 100% sure. I was going to give it a go with a late model R180 from a S12 (diff with the big K stamped on it). I ran out of time and just wanted to get the thing installed. Click on the link in the first page for the forum thread and ask. John C should know for sure.

Chhers mate. Thanks for sending the output flange as well. It's my understanding John waits for people to contact him with the intent of buying a set. He bangs them on a list and then when there is 20 or so he orders them.

I think someone on hybridz put a subaru lsd into a datsun and found he had to grind the housing to make it fit. I will try lining crownwheel bots up today.

If anyone wants a pair now rather than in 6months time when another batch gets made, PM me.

Tried fitting a datsun crownwheel over my kaaz subaru LSD and it did not fit. Would need to machine 3-5mm out of the inside of the crownwheel to make it work. Not sure if a standard STI LSD would be the same but I expect so. As such I am now needing a subaru 3.9 R180!
