These are the enjoyable mods!
Looks nice and stealthy Trent. Have you had a chance to test it out?

Hi All,

Datsun went on a diet this morning :) I had some free time (can be dangerous)

Quickly whipped two of these up on the CNC. From design > cutout and installed was about 20 mins.

3mm Carbon fiber (Same thickness as the steel)

Cheers,

Trent

Nice! Glad to hear it's all working out!

Sadly not, mine is at home on stands with the gearbox removed so I can send it off to get to the bottom of an annoying leak. I was with my wife and son in my new daily, a MkV GTI. I was sitting at the Duck Inn and saw you drive past, can't miss that blue!

Oh sorry to hear about your car!

I had a MKV GTI, awesome little car, I migrated to the MKV R32 Golf however the GTI was a better drive.

Yeah was wrapped with the performance today, I have a few squeaks in the rear suspension I need to sort out and some new brake pads and I'm good to go.

I probably need to get another tune done at some point as well, it's been a while :)

When your back up and running we should organise a Datsun cruise :)

Cheers,

Trent

Very jealous of the r32, that's actually what I wanted but couldn't afford/justify the ~10k difference in price. Very happy with my GTI so far, only 83k on the clock, and came with a few options like sunroof and xenons. Felt right at home on the spur, comfy for the family and plenty of fun for me. Wife has the SUV so I'm trying to hold onto having a fun car for as long as possible

Yes I was just thinking about that yesterday myself, definitely need to organise a drive out that way with the dattos.
