Thought id post up a few pics of my 200B ive had it for about 6 years. So far it has given me to much trouble but it has had a fairly easy existence with only elderly drivers before me and the same mechanic since birth.

this is how it looked when i got it it had about 160000ks on the clock

since these photos i have made a few changes. I have new chrome on the front as some was bent. I tinted the rear lenses and got some front mud flaps (they were stolen god knows why) and also got a new front passenger side guard which i painted and fitted. Also got a black pleather interior from the green200b but i havent yet fitted the seats just the door cards.

As far as mods go its pretty simple i have recently fitted twin SU carbies, electronic dizzy and i did a headlight upgrade.

looking forward to some comments

About time you started a thread for this vehicle!

Black interiors are the bomb, and that's just all there is to it. So hurry up and fit the seats. And then post some nice pictures.

might as well show of my SU's as well they are the hitachi flat tops unfortunatly but they make a world of difference to the car. They dont seem to impact petrol much either so a huge gain of power without any loss of efficency.

believe me i know kombi vans in my childhood.

Today i fitted a keyless entry system my neighbour gave me. I was really pleased with it to be honest. It was easy to fit and the range on the remotes is amazing.it works from about 30 metres away inside my double brick house. I think it will be a great novelty for an old datto to have keyless entry and central locking.

well small update on the car. After the cruise a couple of weeks ago my exhaust had decided to disconnect itself. I really thought that it sounded fantastic but my neighbours tended to dissagree. so after i was followed by a police car for a few Ks last week i decided to get it fixed. i got a sports muffler sounds pretty good. The exhaust place in alphington was really good. the guy there is a real datsun fan to. He has a few 200bs and 180bs.

if anyone has any rust free doors or a bonnet or boot im very interested mine are starting to really annoy me.

Bit of an update on the 200B. I decided for some reason to change the look i wanted. Now i want a sort of Gspec cruiser. I have had widend stock rims made up. I bought a rear venetian and want to get a front exterior sun visor. I should be lowering the car soon. White wall's and new better placed body mouldings to come as well. Still a fair bit of work to come.

Picked up these hubs today. There was only one in stock but I have ordered 3 more. Exactly what i wanted though just not sure of the rim colour.

Awesome! Very different. Red wheels and whitewalls, and your work is complete.

Well as it turns out white walls arent so easy. The common type that people get are infact illegal. 14" white walls tyres only come in very narrow sizes and I already have to much stretch. So my only option is to get "Flappers". For those of you who have no idea what they are they white wall's that you stick into your rim. I only wanted a thin line around that didnt cover all the way to the rim. Anyway i will get some "flappers" for now and then try and find a better way of white walling.

On a more succesfull note i ordered a rear venetian today. I really like these as just a small touch. The same company makes the sun visors i like so i can ask about that to.

Small update maybe some pics soon to. I got my venetian it really sets the car off a bit. I finally got some wider tyres they look great. I fitted flapper white wall's as well and i love them. For some reason i havent got my hub caps yet which is starting to annoy me some what.

But today whilst picking up some parts from my local wrecker i noticed something on the shelf. It may have been there all along but now at the age of 22 i need glasses so i saw this thing on the shelf. On closer inspection i was right. It was a 200B SX steering wheel. The guy sold it to me for $40. I was chuffed with myself.

I would like to reccomend Auto cables who made my venetian it is of a great standard.

Nice score with the SX wheel! I have a couple of those here. Have you got any pictures of your car with the wheels and caps all around?
