I need to pull off the door trim to get to the lock barrel in my 180 and I cant for the life of me figure out how to get the interior door lock/handle off. There's one screw on the front but Im pretty sure there is a clip behind it which is holding it on. I don't think its a circlip cos theres no space to get anything behind it and I don't want to force it and have it break.
can someone explain in dummies terms how to undo this mystery clip?

Hey...

I looked at this thread and had to think for ages about it

The yesturday I went to SSSBEE's house and looked at his doors, I couldnt remember what the B doors interior handles were like

So if you take the screw out from behind the handle, and if youve taken the inside lock plastic turner thingo off.. which can be really hard as you need to pull it off towards you

When thats off, lift the handle a little and wiggle the plastic backing and it should come free

Let us know, how u went

Simon

Thanks Simon.

I wasnt sure if the 'plastic turner thingo' was supposed to pull straight off or not. Pulled everything off with no dramas :)

It helps if someone before you has destroyed it - it disintegrates when you touch it lol
I need a new drivers side one, it's now glued together but still doesn't look right.

Make sure you put the lock back in the right angle so the colours are correct :)
