yeah i found out the thing about ants is they don't care if you tip their world on its side........cause they can walk on walls......all i achieved from that roll was the knowledge that its a lot harder to open doors upwards....and its pretty easy to roll a car even at slow speeds...when doing reverse 180 spins. but thats why i have the car so i can learn to drive when things go wrong.

Hi from Adelaide.

Well, many years ago i had an S2 bluey wagon as a daily drive that, despite my best efforts, was unbreakable. These days i have a Z18 turbo powered S2 that i use for forest rallies here in South Australia. Great fun.
I work as a mechanic/fabricator/engineer in the motorsport industry, and am passionate about all form of motor racing.

Cheers
Simon

Hello

Im Mike, I Live in Christchurch New Zealand and i've joined Oz dat because it seems this is where all the Datsun knowledge in the internet is and im going to see it i can tapp into it a little.

At the moment i own 3 910 bluebirds but all my time and money is going towards my toyota corona and im trying to learn the lesson of if i want to get anything done in life i have to work on one thing at a time and get my corona done first!

which is frustrating because i want to work on my bluebirds!

Hi guys, another newbie here.
I'm from Melbourne and don't currently own a Datsun, but I'm strongly considering buying a 1966 Fairlady that needs a bit of work. There's a few questions I need to ask before buying, and I figure there'll be lots after I buy it, so this forum seemed like the place to be.
Cheers,
Scott

Names Luke,

Been a member on a few forums before (aus-vip for one). Got me a lovely Nissan Cedric/Datsun 280C 430 from 1981. Awesome car I'll throw up pics on the other thread. I've owned several Dattos in the past (910 Bluebirds, a C210 sedan and a R31 sedan lol) will own more in the future. Daily driver is a J31 Nissan Maxima. Was a Nissan mechanic before I escaped the trade so got a bit of knowledge and skill for current project. I look forward to sharing my build with you guys.

Hi all,

Newb here .. I'm from the Philippines but will be in Sydney by Jan. 22... I just recently got hold of a 1973 200C with all original interiors and engine.... Just a bit of rust in some places will post pics once my brother returns my camera... Its still runs very well, no smoke or oil leaks and radiator has no leaks as well... only not working in the car is the dash clock... Its a 2 litre 4 speed manual.... I took it already for a long drive and use it whenever I'm home and just want to bring the kids and wife to the supermarket. Hopefully when I get settled in Sydney I can ship it... if its worth the hassle.. no idea since haven't shipped anything to Australia yet... If i ever get it shipped I was planning to strip it down to bare metal and really restore the car and maybe add a few modern comforts.... I do most of the work myself from engine, wiring and painting.. hopefully i can get lots of tips how i can get this baby of mine looking great in no time :)

Peace all and happy trails...

At the moment i'm doing it up, plans for respray and other little jazzy bits.

That's the story, keen to start to get to know you all. I will be browsing often as a 17 year old teenager, I have no life. haha.

Cheers.
