Quick question - my 1600 has twin pot 240K struts / brakes.

After failing scrutineering, I need to replace one of the hoses before this weekend. Currently, the hoses that are fitted run from the caliper to the hard brake line on the inner guard area but the 240K struts have the little "ears" that would suggest a 2-part hose (ie one from inner guard to strut body, one from strut body to caliper.

Anyway, does this look like a 240K brake hose setup, should it be a 2 piece setup, or is it simply the stock 1600 hose screwed into the 240K caliper ?

Basically, what hose will I need to do the job ? Time is a bit tight, have to work out what hose I need, buy hose, fit hose, etc before Friday night or I'll miss my last ever chance to run at Oran Park

I think they are supposed to have a little hard bit of tube for the caliper to the strut

see pics of my struts below

Thanks Lampy - looks like that's the way to go. Much neater than my current setup.

Yep, I've got the correct setup with hard line and new rubber hoses coming from Datsport (along with new radius rod bushes, and a pair of tie rod ends from a local shop). Have to fit them all by Friday night.

Scrutineering was a bit stricter than normal - first time its ever been up on a hoist for scrutineering
