There has been a date change and it is now sat 11th october

Both Steve and i got a run , who else is coming
ive just spent the weekend playing with boost levels and have finally turned the wick up on the bluey so i should be able to get the skylines in a straight line now

Danny's problem is induction noise, not exhaust
if he does turn up 4 cyl class is gonna get hammered ! (maybe all classes  )

12 psi should be a heap better than what you had before

CA18DET with HKS GTRS turbo currently tuned to 1 bar & 190rwkw on 98 pump fuel (used to run 1.5bar on Avgas for 230rwkw). I think I'll leave it at 1bar for Lakeside this time... Its been tuned for good midrange rather than top end. Engine is built with bits from Venolia, Argo, ARP, Tomei etc. Full compliment of PWR coolers and a few other name brand things under the bonnet too.

Brakes are Z32 300ZX 4spots on R32 GTST discs up front and Mitsubishi Scorpion rear discs. Coilover front & JTS reverse eye leaf springs. Koni shocks all round. Its far too soft for high speed stuff really, but its too late to be making changes before Lakeside now... expect to see lots of body roll! and probably lots of arms and elbows

standard S13 5spd and a H190 4.375 diff.
15*7 and 8" Superlites with 205/50 and 225/50 Toyo RA1.

will be dissapointed if it doesn't go under 60  but it depends how composed it is on the bumps under the bridge and through the kink... and I haven't driven it since the Australian Hillclimb Championships last November, so maybe I'm hoping for a bit too much.

So a few Dattoes then, plus old mates turbo 260Z, possibly Nev Munt's 260Z, my 280ZXR. Hope Robert Brookes shows up again in his ratty Z, bloody quick driver.

here's some times from a few of the Dattos from QR Sprint and Lakeside - draw your own conclusions about whos fast. Both Matty and Rob have run high 12 sec qtr miles btw.

QR Sprint
Rob (ratty 240Z) 60.61
Jeff (Datto-510) 61.91
Matty (1200 Ute) 62.09

Lakeside
Matty (1200 ute) 64.13
Rob (ratty 240Z) 64.61
Jeff (Datto-510) 64.85

Doesn't sound like Rob will be there for the next one - kept muttering something about tyres. And Matty's 1200 ute can't make it either.

I have to say it!

His christian name rhymes with the christian name of the famous driver I beat just a few weeks ago! :) Not Will, Not Stephen, but . . . .

cheers,
