The car looks a lot worse for wear than when I last saw it, however it would appear that you have done more propductive work on it in two weeks than the previous owner did in the entire time he owned it. Does it still have a blown diff? And what are your driveline plans? There is only one person who believes that car has enough power to drift, and that's the previous owner.

Hahahaha  Yeah, not the best. My guess would be its been in the weather most its life?

The diff was completely gone, I have already swapped it with my S3 diff out of my other 200b. I also plan to swap engines which is a Ecotec bro............ I mean Sr20det. The main reason for me doing this is I really wanted a track car and not really being able to drive the car to its potential on the road with the SR and it will be a lot cheaper swapping than buying it all again

Im also 3/4 the way through a S3 r31 rack and pin & steering column conversion to it as well. Very inspired by this. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Datsun-2 ... 4310046336

Any updates? I was looking forward to seeing something good happen to this, for the first time ever. I take it you're planning on an SR20DET engine and gearbox with an H190 diff, with the car painted white? What else?

This is how the shed sits as of tonight, I am dropping the x member off tomorrow night to have the rack welded on. 8)

[ img ]

The rack will be mounted with a 35mm gap between the two and on a slight bit of a angle so that the uni is pointing more forward.

Will also have to shorten this shaft that goes to the steering column, just waiting for the the rack to be mounted to get the length spot on.

For now i am leaving the car yellow, Its growing on me :?

My first priority is to get the steering done so i can have the car rolling again.

Followed by:

Hydro Handbrake

Surge Tank and Lift Pump

s13 ? s14 Rear Coilovers

Half Cage

Weld Diff - How will a h190 weldy go?
