Hi Guys,

Looking for some recommendations from some of the local Perth boys. It looks as though I will be moving over to the West in the not too distant future.

I need to look at some appropriate suburbs to move to (renting to begin with). Looking for a central location where I can access the greater Perth area pretty easily as I will be on the road most days.

Any suggestions?

If you need to be closer to Perth CBD Mark, anywhere North of the River I reckon.
Probably don't want to go any further north than Joondalup IMHO.
Of coarse the closer you are to Perth CBD the more expensive it gets...

PS get on MSN mate & tell me what’s been happening!

Hey Mark good to here finally work up to the west ozzie way hahaha as for where to live, lurch is on the money basicly any where NOR close to the Fwy which has the rail line in the middle running from Joondalup (close to Barbagello Raceway) to CBD. If working in town I'd suggest Warwick, Hammersly, Greenwood, Padbury, all 15mins (on a good run  ) from CBD and 20mins from Barbs. 8)

Barbagello / Wanneroo Raceway is located near the top center of the map.

Thanks Guys,

North of the river sounds like the go! The closer to the race track the better I reckon!
:D

Lurch..... I didn't realise you were in WA????? How long you been there for? I probably wont be moving until early next year but need to start organising some things soon.

Here are a couple of pics I took today of the race car..... The SR is now installed, just getting a few things sorted - off to Auto electrician next weekend for a wekk or two to have anew engine loom made.

And a Pic of the new exhaust Manifold.......... It's a work of art - and strong enough to handle Anti-lag..... just in case I get greedy

The car is certainly coming with me. The manifold was made by a guy named Reece (don't know his last name). It was organised through Scott at Insight Motorsports in Arndell Park.

South of the River is starting to sound like western suburbs of Sydney.......

Here is a test.............
If I am SOR do my chances of appearing on Today Tonight increase?

I'll be looking for some new Pit Crew also once I get myself all set-up..... so anyone who wants to learn about race cars etc is more than welcome to come along.

Hahaha nar SOR is not 'that' bad
Bogan factor is higher though...
I'm in Rockingham & to be honest it is a tad too far from the CBD - but it's where the bulk of industry is & of course where a lot of my type of work is.
Just be aware Mark, the urban sprawl here is HUGE...

I'll be in for pit crewing!
I'm very handy with a hammer & I can also give inaccurate chassis setup advise for no extra cost

Pfft are you sure? Mind you your in the deep south arnt you.

NOR is where its at tho! Im about 25km north and work in the CBD. About 35mins on a good day up to about 45ish? Or public transport is pretty good, but who the hell catches public transport anyway?

Ill be up for crewing. I get my mechanic ticket in Oct so i may know how to fix things on a good day.
