Not alot to say about it.

Engine is an A15 with 5 Speed (I think L Series Box), S13 Radiator, Forged Internals, T03 Turbo on modified manifold (Suck Thru-System), Stromberg Carby, Pedders Sports Ryder Springs and Shocks all round, Blown H150 Diff (Open Centre), 2.5" Exhaust (with a few little leaks... lol) and a Holley Pro-Strip Annihilator Ignition System (CDI) w/NGK Iridium Plugs.

Body is Gun Metal Grey with a few little spots that need some T.L.C but you can't notice it unless your looking for them.

Wheels are T.R.V. Racing wheels from Japan in 14x7j all round. Rear Tyres are Firestone/Silverstone 185/60R14 and Fronts are Maxxis 165/60R14 (Wheels in most pic's on rear are 14x7j Centreline's which I have a set of aswell).

Hasn't been dyno'd as yet but i'm putting a new Turbo on soon and an EFI system later down the track.

Once I have a reliable daily this car will basically stay rego'd but only be used for sprints and cruises.

That carb is a stromberg isn't it?
You say you think the 5spd is an L series one? Is it hydraulic clutch? The 63A dogleg 5 spd is basicly an l series box, with an A series bellhousing. I have one behind my supercharged A15, and they are powerful strong. The boys at 1200.com were saying they sell for almost $2K, if you can find one that is.....

Yeah pretty sure is a stromberg. Was thinking of changing it but with the efi getting closer to being ready i'm not fussed on it anymore.

Gearbox is hydraulic clutch 5 Speed

Pattern is:

R 2 4
| + |
1 3 5

Whats the A15 like with a blower?

And if anyone can find me an A series bell housing i'll gladly buy it.

I thought you said you had one?
yes they are like the l series box. BUT as well as the A series bellhousing, they have a shorter input for the spigot bearing than the A series gearboxes.
While all the 63 series dogleg boxes were hydrualic, so were ALL A series boxes, from LHD datsuns. Get under your car, and see if it says "60" or "63" on the side of the gearbox.
According to what I've read at http://www.datsun1200.com, the 63A dogleg gearbox can withstand 200bhp. That being said, I've done some pretty unholy things to 60 series gearboxes, and never broken one. Although, my brother once borrowed my worked A14 powered sunny to go to the shop, and when it came back he'd shawed the roll pin on the selector fork for 1st and 2nd. Easy enough to fix though.
A mate of mine spoke to some "expert" who claimed that the H pattern 60 boxes were stronger than the dogleg ones. Sounds like BS to me, (They have the same size internals)but I will conceed that they are a wee bit newer. I've never been able to break a dogleg 60 though. And I make more torque than most A15's too.

FUN!!!!!!!! It has fabulous torque. There is ZERO lag. By the time the pedal touches the floor, it's making max boost. (7psi)

Sure sounds like it'd be a hoot to drive...

The gearbox currently under my car now is not mine and it has to be returned to it's owner soon so i'm looking for transmission solutions atm. But i have sourced a SSS box and may be buying it very soon but need to get ahold of the A series bell housing to get it crackin.

Also does anyone have any idea as to whether the front disc rotors on a sunny would be bigger than say R31 rear rotors? I'm hoping they are.... (fingers crossed)

No. I now have a full set of Techno Racing TR-V's in 14x7j 0 offset.

I also have a full set of the rims pictured on the rear. They may be cheviots but I haven't looked at them in a while. It's printed on the back of the rim. They are also 14x7j 0 offset

Well I now have a new diff installed and should have the Sunny up and running by the weekend. Just waiting on a new tailshaft to be made... And new Turbo is back from getting a full re-build so that will be going on also in the coming weeks. Have also been sourcing some coil-overs and camber plates for it aswell so pending on cash flow they will be on before x-mas...

Sorry to burst your bubble, but it's not quite as easy as that. Although the L series dogleg 5spd has the same spline as the A series 63 box, the L series one is longer. Plus the only a bell housing from a 63a box will work. Thats not an easy thing to come by.
