Well, from what ive heard this is shaping up to be a really good event. The East Coast Powercruises have been fantastic, so I think with the WA boom as it is - we should be able to compete with some really nice cars over here.

One idea I had would be to enter Powercruise as a club or group entrant? My thoughts with Motorvation this year was that it would have been great to have a club display and get alot of the datto guys together. We were fotrunate to have 3 of the 4 dattos at MV together which was great. Obviously i'm not an organiser, and admittedly it sounds alot easier than it would be. But in simple terms, if there was interest it would be good to keep all the dattos together, and organise some shelter of some sort, with a bbq. As a starter I know a few people that are thinking about entering (whether they would be interested in a group entrant is another story, but...):

1. Me (1600 sr20)
2. Justin (1200 ute ca18)
3. Beau (1600 sr20)
4. Vaughan (DR skyline fj20)
5. Simo (1600 sr20)

Sorry if ive named you and you aren't interested. Anyhow thats my thoughts. It would be nice to enter in an event such as that where we can have all the Datto guys together???? And obviously you wouldn't need to enter a car to join in, could be a basis to organise a cruise to even??? Who knows, maybe im talking crazy..you tell me people.

Brett (if thats Correct  )

Fantastic Idea I love it. There are couple of people you left thou
6. Tim (1600 sr20) Timmmy
7. Jason (1600 sr20) Tuff_1600
8. Me Deza (180B fj20e maybe et ) dnsv1600
9. Invite Datsun 1200.com too

I'm not to shore they have static displays thou I thought it is a constantly moving dislay, if you want to drift a corner you can, if you want to drag someone the striaght you can.
Don't forget this is held @ barbs so we maybe not need a tent but to book the covered pits.

Bring it on I can't wait.

The covered pit area is a good idea  Well im not too sure how everything works with the Powercruise. But from the sounds of it we could actually get quite a few Datsuns out (and maybe a DR too). Well lets get an idea of who is interested, and forward our cause!

Invite to Datsun1200.com hey? Only because we can pull the numbers out for a cruise

Yeh ill post a thread up there. I may be interested entering a car. Either the red 1000 or if i have the ratwagon done maybe that(would prob still only have the 1ltr of fire tho) Somebody (Deza? seeing as you stay home all day playing PS  ) could call the organisers and see how big of a pit area we can book? Or is this for powerhouses only?

Its shorter then a commo V6 and a guy in SA has one of em in a 1000. If it will fit i might be on the look out for one. The car only cost me $150 so im not scared of cutting it up. Will have to put some sort of roll cage in it and a Hilux diff or something. I might have to teach myself to weld for this one!
