went on a massive mission in the weekend to sydney and picked up another datsun super six , not bad condition little but of rust but very strait, not sure what im guna do with it, probably lower it a but and try put some old original type wheels on it [/img]

Nice mate! A bloke I know has done the RB25 head to RB30 conversion and the thing makes huge power and pulls like a train. All is needs now is bags.

Whoa. Blast from the past!

So, went sniffing round the shed of old datsun on the farm and found this




3 afternoons and a few boxes of beers, and its back on the road.
The old turbo had run a bearing and parts were hard to get due to it being some kind of china. It sat in the shed for a few years due to no motivation and other projects on the go. A few days ago i talked ray into getting it going. I have a dead skyline which donated its gt35/40 turbo, some modification to the manifold on the datto, add some water cooling on the turbo and she started up right away!



Just needs the exhaust flange swapping over, a good clean, install the grille and other trim, and maybe a bit of a tune.

Would love to know how this conversion was done if anyone has any info. Engine crossmember is a prick of a spot and is super chunky making engine conversions problematic...
