Thanks. Yes agree on the timeless factor with the watanabes. Am leaning more towards them.

Those rims from otomoto look good but to be honest, I wouldn't want to clean them! To much work!

I prefer the 03's, though heaths polished wheels have made me realise you will probably have to clean them a lot more often then the painted watanabes. But still think the 03's are a bit more.... somthing, haha showy i guess in a good way.

Really? Was this on the cards when I spoke you the other day? Is the car back over here or is it still in WA? Was a nice bit of kit. I did like it.

Ha, honestly had no idea about it. It's only come about the last 24 hours.

All I have bought is the engine (less dry sump system as I have a race prepped wet sump getting fabbed) and a few other odds and ends that'll go with it. No turbo or manifolds. I'll run mine.

It is the exact spec I have been planning on building in the long term. Now I don't have to build one as it's all done for me. Not only saves me a stack of time but also a whole stack of money! It's a seriously tough engine and made 400rwhp on 17psi last run a month ago. Has made over 500rwhp prior to full rebuild. Won't make that kind of power with my turbo etc but that's fine with me. It'll be bullet proof and that's what I want.

This attachment is what my set up currently looks like and the new engine will look the same as I'll swap covers etc.

Hey Scott, I'm trying to do the fuel setup in my 200B now too. I want to keep it all hidden like yours, but also not under the car, in the boot if possible. Did you have any issues with yours at all?
Hey, No mine has been good. I do get a slight petrol smell in the cabin and in the boot though. I think that moght be more to do with the fuel pump (second hand) than the rest of the set up. I've checked everything and there are no leaks anywhere. Its not really noisy either. Perhaps if I did it again I would put everything under the car just to eliminate any possible fuel smells.

Hope this helps.

Scott.
Sorry for resurrecting an old post in your thread, but just wanted to put my 2c in. :-)

To significantly reduce the in-cabin fuel smell that you are noticing it would be best to replace all rubber fuel hoses with braided lines and fittings, as the fuel permeates through the rubber and gives off a fuel smell. Not a cheap fix, but this will make for a more enjoyable drive.

I have not done this in my 200b yet, but it was on the cards as my son isn't a fan of the smell.
Just tossing up whether to relocate the entire fuel system underneath the car to reduce in-car noise from the .044 and Holley lift pump which buzz away constantly anyway.

You going down to the nationals in 2013??

03's are my fav for sure. Have been looking at Konig Rewinds 15x7 0 offset too. Nice rim and not quite as expensive as the 03's. Love the mock up you did on your SSS!

As for the fuel smell bit. That makes sense. You're right though. Expensive. Would be cheaper to run it all under the car.

Hoping to be at the Nat's at Easter. Not in the SSS though :( Wife and I are trying to do a road trip with the kiddies at Easter and the nats will be on the cards if it happens. Would love to see your SSS!

More rim choices.....Narrowing down to these two. I was all set on the Konigs until I spotted these Rotas! I like them and they are only a tad more expensive than the Konigs. Also 8" wide instead of 7" too.

Comments please!!!

If anyone can do a decent photoshop job of the two let me know. I'm hopeless with it.

If you're on the cheap, I've always liked GSR pepper pots..

Very period piece and not too shabby when polished up.
