Finally. The car I've been searching for. This is how I bought it with the exception of the mags and steering wheel which I already had waiting. It has Aircon which is great. Its near perfect condition. No tears in the seats or carpet. No cracks in the dash. Everything works and looks like it was brand new.
Hope you like.

Well, I'm building an FJ20 2.1, 45mm webers, cams etc etc and 5spd but now I'm a little unsure if I should do that. I have been building the engine way before I got this car. But the car is to good I'm thinking.

I just bought one too dude, been wanting one for like 4 years, just never saw myself getting one.

I've got heaps of plans for mine, flared gaurds and welding up that rear 1/4 window, just to get started.
can't wait.... sick :)

Hello all.

Yes most of the paint is original. It has been resprayed in parts some time ago by the looks.

The 200b's never came out with twin su/hitachi's. Only ever the std 2 barrel. carb. The 180B SSS's did but not these things. They are just as slow and pokey as a normal 200b.

Riley: Did you buy the burnt orange one that was on cars sales not long ago?

Thats a 240K steering wheel on it now. It came with the factory fake woodgrain wheel. Very hideous!

I have my coil overs and 4 spotter brakes in now. The rear is lowered too. I'll give it a wash and post a pic or two. I've also removed and straightened the grandpa front visor and re fitted it. Only thing is, it wistles now just like an old man! The rear internal venetian has been fitted too. That is how it will stay for some time now. I'm happy to chug along in it for a while until I finish building my FJ.

Thats neat as!

Drop it a couple of inches and it will be perfect, and with a weber'd FJ It'll have a bit of poke (and sound sweet)

Please explain why yr putting a carby on an EFI motor. Sounds doubly dutch...
Definately keep it that way WITH the FJ innit, maybe just remove those wheels and put steelies with hubcaps on it... whatta sleeper :)

Theres some pretty trick stuff in these cars; Boot release, u can move the seats higher or lower and rear passenger windows... love it.

My 200 has twin SU's, but maybe it's not original, i don't know :)

Heres a pic of mine...

Well I might still end up running quad throttle bodies yet. You'd be surprised how well an FJ20 can run on webers however.

Here is a pick of the car now that it is lowered. The back needs about 10mm more down. I'll fill it up as it has a near empty tank at the mo and then I'll have a look and see if I'll just leave it be.

Sold my other SSS today! Hooray!!

Nice car mate i have a 200 the same colour but it's a 4 door.

What type of car are you brakes and struts from. And where they hard to fit because it looks like you still have 200B lower control arms?

Haven't done anything with the rear disks. No time and not required at the mo.

The struts are 180B (late) and shortened, Z31 KYB inserts, VR Commodore bump stops which have been shortened, king 250mm 200lb springs, Celica front rotors and Volvo 4 spotters. ADR approved braided lines front and rear.

The strut tops and top spring cap are all custom made.

Just need a bigger master cyl now.

Yep, std 200b control arms.
