Good stuff Bob  . You won't need 700cc injectors. Grab 444cc or 500cc rx7 injectors. These are good for around 200rwkw. You will need to do the maf though. You could always use a RB25DET maf. They are the same size as a Z32 but a smaller resolution and cheaper. The only reason I went with the Z32 is the possibility of chasing more power in the future with after market cams and more boost. What Turbo are you running ?

I have the S15 ball bearing unit on there at the moment - though I dont think it is in real good nick. If I get 10 thousand out of it I will be happy, and will look to upgrade.

Ahh nice the gt28r's are a great turbo. You should be able to run around 18psi when you do your fuel and air. It will haul ass.

I hope so.

Thanks for the offer Lurch - just picked up some other GTR injectors though at the right price. Everything is moving the right direction.

OK - an update after a very long silence.

So the car was going well for a while, but I always thought it could go better. Unfortunately after a while it started going downhill, Andrew (dorifticon) and I spent some time going over it trying to find anything wrong - found a few little boost leaks etc, but it didn't really fix anything. Threw new coil packs at it - nothing. I replaced all the plugs on the loom - nothing.

To cut a long story short, the one place in the rebuild I cut corners was with the head. I made do with just lapping the valves, and it turns out that I was just masking shot valve seats. The motor has just gone back in with a fresh head, and it has made a -huge- difference. On 13psi now it is really starting to behave itself.

Really? There was only *one* place you cut corners?

...

I am going to let that one go right through to the keeper.

Anyway, it is giving a nice little shove in the back now, should be interesting to wait for a cold canberra evening and time some 0-100 runs.

I was actually thinking of organising an afternoon out at the skidpan at Sutton. It is $220 for 2 hours, I was thinking maybe getting it and laying out witches hats, setting up a few mock khanacross style courses and just having a bit of a laugh. Any interest from people?
