wow, looks like a ripper!!

I think 16s would fit on a 120y with no problems (if you had the right tires)

Dont modify that car to fit them on... best thing you can do is to keep it stock

Yeh I have some 16" rims that used to be on my bro's Gemini to go on it,
205R40 low profile, they do just fit, just need some new rubber.

Everything I do i'm planning to keep the original parts, so she can be transferred back to original condition. I just want to be able to keep up with traffic!

Gemini have the wrong PCD unfortunatly so the wheels wont fit... :(

The wheels have two PCD's on them, there a multifit 4 stud pattern rim, if i have any trouble i'l probably settle for a set of nice 15"s from tempe tyres or the likes.

Yeah I know that feeling, I got rid of my 1st 120Y because it was dangerously slow, now I'm getting another one and its auto  should be fun giving everyone the pinky wave when as they pass me

Thanks for the remarks guys, she has been very well looked after, there are afew minor flaws in her, namely the front lhs guard has obviously been hit at one stage and there is a slight mismatch in colour, but apart from that its all original,

-mint interior no rips anywhere, no cracks even on the dash
-4spd manual
-had original datsun battery when purchased, but that carked it
-motor runs without any ticks, and the oil is still yellow, she even has reciepts going back for over 25 years worth of service every 5000k's.

I only paid $650 for her aswell, because she couldn't drive anymore, bargain ey? she's my baby! and she's dam sexy aswell haha!

what's she drive like apart from being gutless :)

Have any of the suspension bushes ever been replaced, i'd recommend it, it's amazing the difference on an old car with 30year old bushes, the feeling once you have all new ones is quite suprising, feels alot more direct and stable on the road, that and new shocks too

Brings back memories of my first car, except mine was baby poo mustard coloured, all stock except for my stereo/CD player and lightweight - carpet had rotted so i removed it :)

Very nice Y

Gonna bring it along to the meeting on the 14th for us all to check out? $650 sounds pretty good for such a original and clean 120Y! See that one for $4500 in the quokka???
