Well its been a while,

Not much has happened to the datto since then really.
I shat the clutch in august. I've since put in a Valo ceramic VL clutch.
Very nice.. grips like sh*t on carpet

Also thought id do my clutch system while i was there. new master braided line and a new slave. hopefully i dont have to touch any of that for a while (gearboxes are fun to get in and out)

I put in a 120y booster for better pedal feel and replaced leaky slave cylinders in the drums

um a little more boost and thats about it really
Might go and get a quote on getting the bonnet i bought from waz aaaages ago fixed and sprayed

Yup your datto was definitely from canberra, the plates read YULOOZ (you'll looze). It was in fast fours in 2000 from memory?? and yes crystal meth was the title of the article.

From memory the bonnet didnt have pins on it, the FJ looks completely different now also. I also remember the article stating that it was pumping out 450hp(big back then) on meth. I can try and find it if you like?

hey all,
long time since a post.
Not a great deal has happened since my last post.
The engine crossmember wasnt reversed properly, and well,
SNAPPED at the mounts to the chassis. not too bad though didnt do any damage to anything else.
So i got nissco to do a new crossmember and i put that in.
I also shoved standard lower control arm pins in it, didnt like the idea
of the camber pins it had in it snapping.

Fixed up the bonnet i got from waz. its looking pretty good, in black

Thats all for now. planning on moving out soon so i can have more room to work on my other 16.
Got the sr20 for it but my folks have cracked it.... "NO MORE"


so its time to leave

ive got the mag too.i love my 68's,i saw this car at the gold coast about 6 years ago,i saw it go past the opposite way and tried to catch it in my 1600 wags,no luck

I also have seen this car before and spoken to its owner..

back in 2004 i bought some wheels for my R33 from Donnelans in Box Hill, and while i was waiting for the wheels to be put on i noticed MR510 sitting in the car park and it turned out it belonged to the guy working at Donnelans that was putting my new wheels on.

so we chatted for a bit, i told him i also had one etc. Very nice car, i remember taking pics with my phone..

Nice car mate i remember seeing this a few years back at nissco when the 1st moved around to the new shop i think it was the grand opening for the new shop and MR510 was there smoked em out the street when he left i might have it on video somewhere.
