Hey all,

Picked up this little gem a couple of weeks ago.
It was on the datnet classifieds, and after calling the guy it turned out to be the same 1600 that i had taken a photo of years ago and has been on my door ever since!!! - small world i guess

long story short, i went and had a look and put a deposit on it straight away..

Its got :
An Fj20 - pretty sure its an NA converted to turbo - not going to thrash it too hard (pretty good compression across all cylinders)
FJ 5speed
High flowed T03
RX7 cooler behind left hand head lights
R180 welded diff
Simmons FR17's
Fully seam welded
Microtech LT-8s Ecu with hand controller
Speco drivers seat and exa passenger seat i think
Harnesses
CD player - blah blah who cares
Big exhaust 3 inch i think with muffler under spare wheel well (half of wheel well removed)
2 stage boost controller - crazy or insane (7 - 14psi)
momo steering wheel and gear knob
Hilux fronts on honda legend discs
240k rear drums
Kings all round

Claimed approx 190kw @ the wheels


That all i can think of at the moment.

She needs a good tune, been backfiring when its turned off (idling too high unburnt fuel staying in the exhaust)
Plans are get rid of the stickers on the rear window, perhaps a venitian, put smaller wheels on it (dont wanna be cop bait) and a front mount when i can afford one....
Needs a bonnet, old one flipped up on the previous driver.. But it has bonnt pins you might say. he was working on the car then took it for a drive and forgot to latch them down

all the better too hold you:P

its the way seats have to be. watch out you dont get a tear on the edge from getting in and out

some seats have sections that cover that bit. eg. cobra's, some sparco's

Dan drove a 1600 bonnet down from the east on the roof of the stanza...just get some rags and some rope

Was built buy a guy called filip butkovic in the 90's, and am pretty sure it was in fast fours aswell.. had the plates udloze or something like that. "Crystal meth" was its cover title - had a methanol eating FJ in it then

Not sure bout the bonnet idea waz tad iffy for me..
Should have a cruise soon and ill go for a spin with a couple of you,
