Well the manual was getting noisey , clutch was slipping , rear main leaking
perfect excuse to go soft and put a built auto in it
Box of choice is a 300zxtt jatco RE4R03A , It was sent to mike at MV automatics in SA the jatco master .. Specs are forward pattern manual valve body , billet servo , upgraded bands and all the other goodies needed to keep it alive , 3000 stall convertor

A few small jobs to do and its done , need to mount trans cooler and run lines , redo one powersteer line , a bit of wiring , fit dipstick tube and i can throw in some ATF and see what happens ..
I was advised to run a few 100 ks up on the box then it will have a retune

That will do till after NDN13 then i will have a built motor going in sometime this year

The old Autronic is a SMC v1.09 its about 8 yrs old now ... The SM4 I bought last year and had the latest version software .. its going in with the new engine ... only real difference is more user inputs
