What tyre sizes were you using in those pictures with the 8" wheels?
195/50r16. They will give a nice but not ridiculous stretch on the rim. They are a tad smaller in diameter than the original tyre size but that means better acceleration

Well she's a grunter now! Just got her back from a long stay aƄ the mechanics. got the head redone, new head gasket, new manifold gaskets and a full tune and adjustment. Also discovered its been retarded on the cam gear, which has been corrected. Hunting around for a bolt on carby sollution now. |

Apparently these go nicely on an L20b: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Nissan-Datsu ... 3f0eaa8858 Retard the cam back to early SSS spec again and fit a 2" exhaust to go with it. Keep the oem headers. That should let it rev a bit but still be economical, reliable and smooth with a nice midrange. |

I know what you mean... Twin DHLA40 's are a good start. Couple of hundred for a manifold and couple mote for the carbs. |

How do you find the economy? I am mostly searching for good economy as i will be driving my 200B many kilometres a week once i own it. |
